OUR LAMB
Our flock is rotationally grazed on diverse pastures, foraging and fertilizing naturally as they go from field to field. At Lillooet, we are committed to regenerative farming principles that allow us to produce quality food while improving the biodiversity, soil, and watershed on the farm. We strive to be responsible environmental stewards, considering the humane and ethical treatment of our animals above all else.
All of our meat is harvested humanely with the help of Meatworks, an Animal Welfare Approved, USDA inspected slaughterhouse in Westport, Massachusetts. They’re operated by The Livestock Institute of Southern New England, a non-profit founded with the mission of revitalizing and strengthening livestock farming in New England with a focus on humane animal handling.
We take great pride in the care of our flock and know that their low-stress life on pasture translates directly to your plate.
