Hybrid Hazelnut Badgersett Selection

from $12.00

A cross between European and American hazelnuts sourced from Experimental Farm Network with expressed consent from Badgersett farm.

These seedlings represent the work by Badgersett Farm  in developing a population of Hazelnut genetics that will produce disease and pest resistant shrubs that will produce abundant annual crops of thin shelled, medium to large nuts. Selected for bearing early (3years) and growing 10’ to 12’ tall.  Expect variation in their growth and productivity, this is a great group of seedlings to start selecting for our own regionally adapted Hybrid Hazelnut.
